About Us
Quill pens, typewriters, computers, multi functional printers. What do they all have in common? In their time they have all been at the leading edge of technology to make the written word easier to produce. The original Todds organisation started selling quill pens in 1892, since which time the business has continually progressed with technological advances. Whilst technology has changed radically over the last 100 years, the TBSL culture remains the same â reliable products and services that are fit for purpose and deliver the most appropriate technology. Coupled with exemplary after sales care and service standards, TBSL delivers the very best options to help improve efficiency whilst tangibly reducing operational costs.

TBSL's History
The history of TBSL...
TBSL has a long standing history supporting businesses from across the United Kingdom for over 130 years. Originating in 1892 under the TODDS empire of Joseph H Todd, TBSL has since become it's own entity for over a hundred years. TODDS can still be found at Whisby Way today, providing office and education furniture.
Joseph H Todd integrated his son Percy into the company, and together they began the start of a successful typewriter business. With experienced, well trained engineers covering every inch of the UK, the groundwork for what TBSL would become.
Around the year 2000, the technology side of the business was sold into what TBSL is today. We still believe in the core principles that formed the company, with engineers with feet on the ground at your site to fix issues, support your business, and guide you to where you want to be.
